Masters Tournament Favorites to Make at Home

My Versions of the Masters Menu Favorites

The Masters Tournament begins today at Augusta National Golf Club. It’s a sporting event steeped in tradition, from the iconic green jacket to the fact that it's played the same weekend, on the same historic course, every year.

So why does a food blogger who doesn’t play golf love the Masters? Because that same sense of tradition extends to the food. The Augusta menu has remained virtually unchanged for decades; it's famously simple and subtly Southern, centered on classics like their $1.50 pimento cheese and egg salad sandwiches. (Check out the full 2026 Masters Concession Menu).

Since my family is from the South, the majority of the Masters concession stand menu is comprised of dishes I’ve been perfecting for years. I’m sharing my favorite versions with you today so you can bring a bit of that tournament charm into your own home!

On the Menu: My Masters-Inspired Favorites

I’ve organized these recipes into the 3 traditional tournament menu categories, featuring my versions of 10 Augusta classics, each with a "Seasoned Kitchen" twist.

Breakfast

Breakfast Sandwiches on English Muffins

Filled with turkey sausage, egg, and cheese, these muffins are a satisfying, elevated start to your tournament morning.

Lemon Blueberry Muffins

Our twist on the classic Augusta muffin, with a bright burst of citrus.

Sandwiches

The Classic Pimento Cheese

My mom's creamy, tangy, easy-to-make version of this iconic Southern cheese. Serve Augusta-style, between two slices of soft white bread.

Egg Salad Sandwich

My version of this Southern staple is served on a bagel and adds a touch of elegance with smoked salmon.

BBQ Pork Sandwiches

Tender, smoky pork that captures the essence of a Southern backyard barbecue.

Savory Tomato Pie

While the tournament version is a handheld snack, mine is a classic Southern pie served in delicious, flaky slices.

Ham and Cheese Biscuits

A favorite in my house - salty ham and melted cheese served on my grandmother Nama’s warm, buttery biscuits.

Snacks

Southern Cheese Straws

Crisp, savory, and a bit addictive; this is a make ahead favorite of mine that has become a staple for any gathering.

Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

My go-to recipe for a sweet, chewy treat to enjoy while watching the final round.

Peach Ice Cream

A nod to the famous Georgia peach - though living in Colorado, I’m partial to our own Palisade peaches! Either way, it’s the ultimate refreshing finish to your Masters spread.

Whether you're a lifelong golf fan or just looking for an excuse to enjoy a great pimento cheese sandwich, I hope these recipes bring a bit of Augusta’s charm to your weekend. Here’s to a wonderful tournament and some easy, elegant entertaining at home!

Happy Cooking!
